...but it will be worth what is, for me, almost an historical certainty of trouble with my baggage.
I want to go back to Maui. I know there is a hostel on Maui; I know someone who stayed there.
I want to see some of the night life spots I have heard of. I’ve been told there are some wonderful musical productions that blend traditional storytelling with contemporary music and dance.
I may want to visit Hana.
I may want to participate in the floating lantern festival.
I would like to go to church in Hawai’i.
I would like to see what Hawaiian Buddhism is like.
I may want to swim with dolphins there, if there is an opportunity.
I want to go birding in Hawai’i. The last time I went there I was almost blind to birds; they were in the background for me. Now I want to know the avian life there.
I want to take beautiful pictures of the scenery there. If I get a camera with a timer perhaps I can also be in some of the photographs myself.
I want to swim in the warm ocean again. I want to wade out into the water just a bit while the moon is still high, before the sunrise.
I also want to go to Moloka’i. I have been fascinated with it, for no known reason, ever since I heard of it. I do not know what I would do there yet.
I would like to see Ni’ihau.
I am also starting to think that I would like to have someone to share all of this with.
