toddschoonover, man, you are crazy!
this is like my third or fourth from him along with signatures of other 43thingers around the country. this one also included DanT1999 and Toddie M. or Joddie M. dunno if that’s a T or J. lol… but it’s from California. if only i knew you guys were in the state! unless you were far… hohum.

and also a beautiful antique card from, i believe krstawrldtravels, although she didn’t sign her name on it. hahaha!

at first, i figured all the men on the postcard were gay, lol! i dunno… is florida known for it’s gay men population? i don’t think so… that old lady sure looks like she’s having a good time.

i got it a while ago, but lord knows aside from playing video games with my husband and watching movies on netflix, having the drive to do anything else internet related has been has been on E.as obsessed as i used to be about blogging, recently, it’s felt like a chore. but the internet is recreation, so i should just come at it as i feel like it these days and not force it on myself.

ANYWAYS. so, THANK YOU, treble_clef, for the adorable postcard. and i agree about the banana, although it would be hilarious. :P i don’t necessarily look forward to a moldy surprise in my mailbox.

from mississippi, another favorite place of mine! although i think most southern states are favorites of mine, aside from Georgia and Missouri…. I’ve just had bad experiences in those states, but I wouldn’t be opposed to giving those states a second chance. anyways, MISSISSIPPI! i spent a few days in vicksburg, a beautiful historical town under major rennovations. and spent the night in eagle bend at a cute lakehouse near a lake we couldn’t swim in cuz of the alligators. we spent much of our time playing with a dog who enjoyed playing fetch with rocks. believe me, we tried sticks. he only chased the rocks. maybe he was partially blind and sticks were too small to see. o.O

this choked me up! it’s from Todd Schoonover, Deni H and Sherlock while they were in memphis eating dinner. and you guys thought of me?? i feel so loved! ::sigh:: reasons why i <3 43 things...

i’ve been to memphis once, and i ate at central barbecue in this really quiet and quaint part of memphis. DELICIOUS. and we camped just outside the city near the valero plant. the camp ground was nice, but it smelled funny. and it was 100 degrees with 100% humidity and there were un-deet-afiable mosquitos. monsters, i say. but it was still enjoyed and i love memphis so much! i hope you guys were eating very delicious food while you thought of me :D that warms my belly. life is all about food.

Gosh, i love this goal. getting a post card in the mail is like getting a birthday present. what a fantastic feeling!

in thailand! it’s a photo of these beautiful caves that you can only get to by boat. i think my sister-in-law has been there. she used to live in thailand. don’t remember where, though…
