ride my horse more

I’m riding every weekday now, my horse and another pony. I feel much happier about her and not guilty, like I used to when I hadn’t worked her in a while. I got such a great feeling when I realized this goal was accomplished! Best of luck everyone!

Amica (my horse) is at the farm as I write. It seems like she’s gone, but I’ll get to see her every day, so I don’t know what I’m sad about. Anyway, we’ll get to watch her being trained (I’m not sure if the trainer means us to do it or not) and there are ponies there that we’ve been riding. What an amazing opportunity!

My sister and I now do chores at a nearby barn in exchange for riding time (on their horses). But as soon as the new stall is ready, my horse will be boarded there and we can work her every day with the trainer!! (We will still do chores, and get a discount on the boarding fee!)

Well, I have riding lessons at an indoor arena once a week now. (The footing has been bad around here in the field, and it’s been cold…) My horse is going to be boarded there soon, and I’ll probably get to work with her everyday!
