i am KNACKERED. and ILL.
however, i went and did a work-out today. Only 2.5 km run, but then i did about 3 km on the cross-trainer, so that ups it a bit.
ugh. off to drug myself up to the eyeballs with paracetamol. nice nice nice.

in keeping with this get specific thing i’ve doing with my goals, i want to sort out for myself what this goal is going to involve.
largely, i just want a body that i can be proud of. so, i have achieved this goal when:
1) I have a 26 inch waist. I had this last year, but I’ve crept outwards since then.
2) I have got my hips down to 36/37 inches. This one doesn’t bother me so much, it’s healthier to have blubbery thighs than to store your fat around your organs, right? Still, it would be nice
3)I can run 10km without stopping. And then within an hour.
4) I weigh (or have a mass of, as my senior school physics teacher would say) 9 stone and therefore have a BMI of 21. This again isn’t hugely important, as muscle weighs more than fat, so if i’ve achieved goals 1) and 2), but weigh more, i’m not going to be too upset.
5) I have a body fat percentage of 25%. This is in the healthy range for someone my age, i had a quick check.
6) I have completed a sprint distance triathlon. you can train for these in 6 weeks, there’s really not an excuse.
7) I am also more flexible (there’s a little checklist for list on the appropriate goal)
8) I have removed the excess flab from around my arms and back. this is a consequence of over eating this past year. I’m not fat, just flabby.
so, with this in mind, i can aim to get rid of all this blubber that’s been clinging to me the past year. hooray!
