Leave the smallest footprint possible

I finally found and purchased a bed made from all biodegradable materials. I had researched the memory foam, and was horrified to learn how many carcinogenic chemicals are in them, how many people are sick from sleeping on them, and that there’s a class action law suit against the manufacturers of these nasty products. We bought a new bed with a bit of memory foam on the top, and I refuse to sleep on it. So, I found the one I just bought at Costco…see www.myessentia.com. The things I do now, but I need to do more:
-shop for groceries or anything at all with reusable bags
-use all biodegradable cleaning products or just water and baking soda
-use energy efficient lightbulbs
-turn off lights and only have one on in the room I’m in
-try not to buy anything with tons of packaging
-buy local produce
-regift, reuse, reduce, recycle
-donate to the David Suzuki Foundation
-buy organic produce
