find out about my family

I don’t know much about my family… we aren’t very close people. I haven’t met three of my four grandparents, and two of them are already dead. I don’t even know the real name of one of them, because all of his files were burned when he went MIA in the War. The only grandparent that I have met, I haven’t seen in eight years. I get very emotional whenever I come across this topic, because it seems like everyone else in the world is so close to their family, and they know everything about each and every one of them. I hear people say their family annoys them, or they fight so much, but when you really need them… they are there for you.
