I was amused to learn that Noel G. (?) composed this song in reaction to the depression-flavored lyrics common to rock songs during the early 90s.
Oasis – Live Forever
Maybe I will never be
All the things that I want to be
But now is not the time to cry
Nows the time to find out why
I think youre the same as me
We see things theyll never see
You and I are gonna live forever

“Who wants to wrap around your dreams, and…
Have you any dreams you’d like to sell?
Dreams of loneliness…
Like a heartbeat… drives you mad…
In the stillness of remembering
What you had…
And what you lost…
What you had…
And what you lost…” -Fleetwood Mac’s Stevie Nicks
Perfect for capping a tiring day! Hurrah tomorrow!

The first time I understood the lyrics, my brain was going “Heyy.. this sounds familiar” lol. The “Tea for two” is the best part, but thats really me!:
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain
I like watchin’ the puddles gather rain
And all I can do is just pour some tea for two
and speak my point of view
But it’s not sane, It’s not sane…
And all I can do is read a book to stay awake
And it rips my life away, but it’s a great escape
