Find a new job in another state

I think it may be that the only way to do this is the whole “one-person-goes-ahead” plan. But it would have to be me and I can’t leave…..at least it just would be so much to try to coordinate. I wish I had more saved.

At a “Project Enlightenment” class today I spoke to a lady I know who works as the director of a children’s resource and community action program. She coordinates all kinds of things involved in child care teaching. I asked her what I should do and who I should speak to if I wanted to get a job in another state doing what I do now.
She said she would look into it and find out for me…I know she will she likes me and has always been a person who supported me as a teacher.
I hope she finds some good contact information for me to use to try to relocate with a job all lined up.
That would be ideal. I am thinking that to relocate with a job in place you need to “know” someone who has already heard your praises in advance. If I find people to sing I can have that needed “in”.

I registered with Monster…but it didn’t look encouraging.
I found an online way to apply to school systems in Florida.
So I am going to:
*Find a guide to assist me in long distance applications
1. Gather all needed materials and refs
2. Make a paper resume
3. Apply
4. Make phone contacts
5. Make a back-up plan for staying here if need be.
6. Save aside 3 months to live on after I move.
