I have, out of the blue, been recruited by a friend to go backpacking in Vietnam in a month! So now I have a ‘real’ reason, I’ve been for a 1 hour walk 3 of the last 5 days. I’m trying a run 1 min, walk 5 min pattern (repeated 5 times) and by the end I’m pretty wrecked, but it’s getting a bit easier. It also doesn’t help that in Brisbane it’s hot by 9am. I’m not an early riser and I don’t like walking around the inner-city at night by myself, so I reckon it’s a miracle I do it at all!
