Well, I just finished my Branching Out!!!! Whooo! I’m so excited! I’‘m hoping to take pics later and maybe even block it tomorrow. It was a surprisingly fast knit too. I think it took about 2 weeks total. Not bad for my first lace scarf!

I finished some toddler socks on time! I finished my main Christmas knitting on time! I’m finally working on something for me. It’s knitty’s Branching Out. I’ve finished about 9” so far so I still have a quite an uphill battle ahead of me. But I’m really liking it so far. It will be the most complicated project that I’ve finished so far when it is done. :D Well, that’s about it for this update. I’m just happy to report that it’s going well. :)
It’s been a while since I’ve updated, but I have been finishing more projects. First off, I did a few lace swatches which were fun. I’ve finished a scarf for Bobby for Christmas, some Fuzzy Feet for me, a HUGE bag to be felted (well, still not felted, but it’s knit and ready to go), and a few other things I think. I’m working on some more Fuzzy Feet ‘cause they are super fast and fun. I’ve frogged one project so many times that I don’t even know what to do anymore, but I don’t feel like a lazy knitter. The change in season is really helping light a fire under me to finish more projects. I feel the holidays looming already and am glad to be getting a head start! :)
Well, the shawl that I started and could never decide what to do with is done. However, it is now a scarf. haha… I didn’t want to frog it, but I didn’t want to finish it either. So I repurposed it.

Oh yeah baby… it’s 6’ of scarf just for me. Unless I give it away, but with the number of mistakes in it, that is not likely. Oh well… at least it’s FINISHED!
Ok I was trying to finish the second sock before starting anything else, but this Lamb’s Pride I bought a while ago was calling to me and… I cast on for a new project last night. sigh I’m not very good at this goal all in all. In case you’re curious, the sock is the one needing a mate. I’m doing them toe up and on the third stripe only so far. Darnit! I just had to play with my LP though…. can you blame me? :)
Soon, I want to frog the Shawl of Doom and make a fun new one that will let me practice my SSK skillz. I just learned how to do that decrease the other day and want to try it out and commit it to memory. Besides, it’s magical; much like short row shaping. Knitting never ceases to amaze.
