This is about to be enforced by traffic—now that school’s starting, the roads are madness between 7 and 10, so it just makes sense to get in to work early.

Okay, this is not practical when I’m working night shifts, so I declare a temporary break…



so far so good

I’ve been doing this for about a week now. I’m still adjusting-it’s a lot harder to keep a regular schedule in civilian life than it is on retreat. But sunrise is pretty, and it’s a good feeling to have a bunch of stuff done by the time other people get to work-and there’s no traffic this way! So maybe the advantages will be a big enough incentive for me to continue.
