Read 100 books in 2008

So far this year, I’ve read 14 books. Ouch. Considering that it’s April already, I’m not really on pace to hit 100 this year. Ah well, I’m not going to give up. In fact, I need to hit the library today to take back two I just finished, and hopefully pick up a few more. So, I’ll keep going.

Mostly this year I’ve been reading Stephanie Plum novels. Fluffy, but fun. :)

I’ve finally gotten caught up on book reviews (at LibraryThing; Also herebedragons over there), and discovered that I read a total of 181 books in 2007. Which is more than my original goal (of 150), so YAY!

This year, I would like to read 100, but I’m not sure it’s going to happen. One month into the year, and I’ve only finished three books so far. Still . . . it’s possible that I’ll pick up my pace at some point, so I’m going to leave the goal for now. I do have a lot going on this year, though. So, yeah. We’ll see.

Still 181 for last year wasn’t bad!

I created this goal now (way in advance) so that I could format it CORRECTLY, with the first word CAPITALIZED. :D It drives me bonkers to have goals that aren’t capitalized, but when you’re not the first one to create that particular goal, you’re at the whims of the way it was first formatted. So, this is going on hold for a good long while. But, YAY for capitalization!
