I’ve decided that instead of (or maybe in addition to) going through the workbook, I’m going to try out some of the CDs that I have. Let’s see . . . I got a new set not long ago, called onLingo. I think I’ll give that a try.

Since I stopped taking lessons, I’ve pretty much ignored this goal. I don’t want to just forget about it, though, so I’ll create a next action. I think, though, this might be better on the Someday/Maybe list than something I’m going to work on actively at this time. My next action: start working through one of the Berlitz books I have (the beginning workbook, I think).
This is going well so far, although with every lesson I have, I’m reminded of just how much I have yet to learn! I’m taking lessons three times a week through Berlitz, and I really enjoy them. I’ve completed the first two levels (one complete text book), and just started Level Three today. So, according to Berlitz, I am no longer a “beginner,” I’m officially an “intermediate” student. Whoo HOO!
Espero continuar mis lecciones hasta que llego en Puerto Rico.
One of my life goals is to become bilingual, and it appears that Spanish is going to be my second language . . . there’s a good chance that, early next year, I’ll be moving to a place where the primary language spoken is Spanish, and I intend to be fluent as soon as possible.
In preparation for our move, I’ve signed myself and my son up for lessons at Berlitz, and with any luck, by the time we leave, we’ll be able to at least communicate the basics. I want to go well beyond just the basics, though, and get to the point where I can have real conversations in Spanish. Oh, and if I hope to teach yoga after we move, I’ll have to learn enough Spanish to do that effectively, as well.
