The last two weeks I have been checking the (online) newspapers daily. I also have read some other daily changing sites (e.g. wikipedia) and clicked my way from site to site to read some more information about certain topics. The effect was that in the evenings, when I watched the news on tv, it wasn’t all news anymore. I know more names of politicians or what’s going on in the world a bit now. That’s already great! But what’s also great about it, it’s just fun! Reading about what has happened 200 years ago and why or about some place or other is very interesting. Sometimes there are also funny or interesting anecdotes which are nice to share.
So far it’s worth it a lot!

At the moment I am not learning too much. Not that I mind, since I am having so much fun with my little son, but my world got a bit smaller when he was born. That’s not a problem, but I want to get started again: Learning new things, learning new poems and seeing new things. Maybe I should get started with learning one new poem and one new choldre’s song every week. My daughter always loves little songs she can sing along to. And maybe she also enjoys some of the poems.

Soooo much to learn: cooking, speaking french, italian, new childrens songs for my daughter, economy, photography, ...
Maybe I can make a list of 43 things to learn? =)
