even though up-front it’s one of those esoteric goals. But it seems to be attracting a lot of cheers so… ;-) What I had in mind for “underground lair” would be a very large, deep and high-ceiling sub-basement that would be similar in dimensions to a mid-size cineplex auditorium and well underground. Basically an enormous family room or “great room” with big TV screen taking up a whole wall etc, that could be used for big gatherings and such, and be isolated. This wouldn’t be outright hidden or secret, but accessed through an ordinary nondescript door in a hallway or foyer and down a decent-sized stairway/corridor, and through a couple sets of doors for isolation. Maybe I’ll go this route and post some pics.
