Fat Tuesday snuck up a bit early this year. At any rate, MG isn’t exactly a priority here (far, far from it actually) and one would have to go to the more original places like Mobile or New Orleans to be part of any substantial festivities. Further, I don’t know if your average MG festivities would be compatible with what I’d want to get out of it to begin with. *shrug* Some more research is definitely in order.
