It sure is nice to see at least some people that care enough about it to actually want to be there in person. The near-absolute apathy towards these games (2006) I’ve witnessed everywhere is incredibly depressing.
I probably could have gone to some of the Salt Lake events. But the logistics would have made it too difficult, accomodation mainly (something you gotta do way, way in advance) and also finding some reliable to manage the VCRs here at home. I really do want to try and get to the 2010 games, although four years isn’t very far off with respect to my being able to get the logistics handled.
