go to more festivals

Around April through June there’s a monthly street fair downtown. I went for the first time in May, and again to the last one of the season last month. Pretty good time to be had--it’s amusing to be having a party in the middle of what’s usually one of the busiest streets downtown. :-) (I’m finding things like this more enjoyable than the sporting events I was trying to keep entertained with last year. I just need to find a few more to go to.)

5-5 en Espanol :) this turned out to be a lot like a mini-fair. (Sometimes I sort of wish the local fair took place a couple times a year.) I debated going; wasn’t sure if it would be worth driving a ways out of town for. But it was all of 30 miles—and a nice way to spend the evening. I’ll be back next year.
