So after moving away from my old school. I decided to try something different and went along to Krav Maga class. Very different from what I’m used to but I really enjoyed it.
Very sore now though

Right, I’ve had to move for work (again) and now need to find a new place to train in Central london that doesn’t cost a fortune?
Any ideas?
Hey all,
I received my second martial art belt tonight the orange belt. I’m really pleased that I made it this far!
Good luck to all those grading soon!
Well I had another grading last week. I was the only person grading for my particular belt, so it felt very arkward. Towards the end I let the nerves get to me and I messed up a few combinations.
Find out tomorrow if I’ve done enough.
Well I finally made Yellow belt after 6 weeks of training. I thought my grading had gone badly, but it turns out I had done well enough to earn my first martial arts belt. Makes me pretty happy.
Just done my 2nd grading, it went pretty badly. Anyone got any tips on how to stop being so nervous?
Well I got through my first grading. An I passed it! Pretty happy with that, looking forward to the next one.
Well this week is Wednesday is grading day. I’m very nervous as I’ve only been training a few weeks. I ask my instructor if he thought I was ready and he said he would watch me during the session.
At the end of the training session he said I should go to the grading night. So I’m pretty nervous and not too sure what to expect.
Went well, this time I was in a private room with just the instructor and me. I’m still feeling nervous about joining the main class. I have one more one to one session then I’m in with the rest of them. :s
Woo, so I finally plucked up the guts to go to a class. I was super nervous the coaches were friendly, I felt really out of place but I was complemented on how quickly I had picked up a few of the kicks.
So I’ve signed up to train twice a week. Think it will be more fun that the gym.
