I thought about this as I sat in the international terminal at LAX the other night. Jenn was flying back to Oregon and I decided to grab some food with her, and international is the only place where you can eat if you aren’t flying. So…
I kept looking up at the board and it seemed that there were quite a few flights to Manila and other places I’m not all that keen to go… and only a few flights that looked good… Australia, Fiji, Scotland, Germany and the like. And I got to wondering. Does this goal mean that I might be taking a short flight to somewhere wonderful and exotic like Phoenix, Salt Lake City, or better still, Sacramento?! Because if it does, I might have to change it to “Show up at the airport with a bag and passport and take the first flight INTERNATIONAL flight available.”
