that you can build yourself… should I or shouldn’t I? I already have too many projects going now. One more may toss me over the edge.

I am purchasing bamboo flooring for my front living room. I figured since I am going to repaint this month anyway I might as well do it up right.

Recently I’ve really begun to think about purchasing side of things. This was partially due to a friend who lives more simply and greener than I. It was brought to my attention the cd’s, books and magazines I collect not only disrupt the simple life, but the green life as well. Not that I will ever be totally green on these things, but I can make minor changes to meet the goals of being green and living simply.

That being said my latest purchases have been to download the mp3’s, legally and paid for I might add. I now have added more to my collection without adding to the clutter of having extra items laying around or having the objects or trash of the purchase laying around. It makes me wonder if we all did this for the next month how many resources would be saved in the manufacturing of cd’s, their cases, and the paper products of the cases.

I have the energy efficient lights, but I was recently reading on solar energy. it would be nice to convert part of my house to run off of solar power. There’s more things we can do it’s just committing to them.
