I had pretty much completely stopped exercising this winter except for a few days here and there. I’m hoping to get back into this for good. I am thinking about joining a gym in my neighborhood. It’s within walking distance of my house and has a variety of exercise options – pool, racquetball, bikes, treadmills, basketball, etc so I am hoping that will help me be more motivated with this. I also have my husband on board with getting healthier now. I need all the allies I can get!
I worked out on Sunday and today. My goal at this point is just to exercise every day of the week but Saturday.

I have not kept up with my goal of working out three times a week at all, but now I’m back to focusing on it. This week I went hiking at a state park in the snow (very fun!), did Tae-Bo, and played laser tag. I’m trying to find fun new ways to workout in the winter. I plan on going roller blading at the roller rink this week!

After two very successful weeks, this past week I was too busy (and also too lazy) to work out more than once! This week is a new start though. I actually really miss working out, which is good! Here’s to a better week!
With winter on its way, I am curious if any of you have recommendations of workout videos or winter workouts. I have a much harder time working out in the winter since I don’t belong to a gym and it’s often too cold or snowy in Indianapolis to go running, biking or rollerblading. Right now, the only workout video I own in Tae-bo, Ultimate Upper and Lower Body. I like workouts with good, intense cardio that don’t require too much physical coordination :) Any suggestions you have would be great! Thanks!

My goal is to workout 4 times a week. Working out can be: a 4 mile rollerblade, 2.5 mile run, 45 minutes of Tae-Bo (either Ultimate Upper Body or Ultimate Lower Body), or at least a 30 minute bike ride. I’ll be trying to add more options as I discover new running routes, etc. I really need workout variety. I’d also like to add in lifting weights to my workouts as I get used to working out more often.
Last week I only worked out twice. I did Tae-Bo Ultimate Upper Body on Tuesday and a 10 mile bike ride on Saturday.
This week I’m trying to front load my workouts so I’m not feeling exhausted on Friday and way too behind on working out. I rollerbladed Sunday, and today I did Tae-Bo Lower Body. It’s a good start for me.
