learn to sew

I am almost done making my dress. It’s the first thing I’ve ever sewn. I still need to make a few adjustments for size. It’s a little to large right now.

I had my first sewing class this past week. I am really excited to start learning!

I am thinking about taking an upcoming beginner’s sewing class at JoAnn’s. I’m having a hard time just learning to basics so I think some instruction would be helpful.

I received a sewing machine I registed for for my wedding so I’m excited to get started. I reserved some books at the library so I can learn more. I’ll also be picking up fabric from my parents’ house next weekend. I bought fabric years ago in high school when I decided I want to start sewing. I never followed through with it, but now I’ll have a fresh start.

I need to buy a sewing machine!
