and there was a local news van on the scene. I parked at a nearby gas station & started milling around ‘blending in’ trying to get into the shot. As I got in that area it became apparent that any taping they were doing was already done & I had just missed a cheap chance at getting some air time. I’m still holding to the fact that I don’t want to CREATE the news for the sake of getting on TV, so I’ll wait for the next opportunity to arise. I used to think “Fear Factor”, but now maybe “Deal or No Deal”?

It could be an appearance on a game show. It could be a part of a news story (hopefully a good one). I just think it would be cool to have it happen & to happen with such exposure that people who know me are very likely to catch it on TV and not just hear through the grapevine that it happened.
