not doing so well..it has not been an obsession nor have i wanted to overdo the sugar but not doing it…maybe later

well I started with sugar again..not full force but enough to screw everything up…it is poison and I feel so tired but CANT sleep…imagine that!!!! help tomorrow is a new day and at least i don’t eat and drink sugar constantly….
I was at a dinner and i ate the strawberry shortcake….i have been back on chai tea and i feel crappy…i have NO energy…sugar is really effecting my live..
I took my team at work out for team day and it rained so we ended up at CiCis pizza rather than the park…the pizza was off because of being on south beach diet but it was not a struggle..i ate salad..the struggle lied within those fresh hot baked cinnamon rolles..everyone was eating them and I could smell the sugar…the craving was not as bad as i had thought and would not have been as bad as if i had ate one…because i would have felt terrible today….I am feeling good about this between giving up sugar, joining the gym and going everyday, and south beach diet i am down 7 pounds in 5 day.. i cheer myself today for being good to me..
Southbeach is difficult if i am not prepared and have variety..then i want sugar and white flour products etc etc….so tonight i concocked a wonderful mushroom sandwich without bread….big mushroom saute in olive oil…cover with spaghetti sauce, bleu cheese, mozzarella, and grape tomatoes…...
I briefly starting having my favorite sugar drink again and tried to do it in moderation…have one every other day and it did not work after a few times i was back to daily…i justified it by cutting down to a smaller size but in the end i was back up to the bucket of chai…so i found a wonderful alternative that is sugar free and i make it at home…so i am saving many calories, sugar rushes, and about $25 a week
I committed to 14 days without sugar..it was hard at times but not like I thought…although i have had my fav drink with sugar I still have not had other sugary things like dessert etc…Now i want to give up sugar and all white flour and processed food starting 4-9 which is south beach diet…..
read an article about sugar free and it stated stay below 40 grams a day…i have done that and ate or drank NO sugar…my mind is clear and i have slept a million times better..it is amazing….
i still have not had sugar…it has been fairly easy so far..my favorite drink and breakfast was full of sugar and i miss it most…..but i am glad i gave it up….
Well it hasn’t been as bad as I expected. I have made it without several of my daily sugar crushes…i kicked chai tea which i have had every day for 9 years now at $4 a day x 365 days a year =$1460×9 = $13140…so that would have paid off my medical bills with plenty left over..so I am planning to save an extra $150 a month toward my travel plans…
