Steamy. 11 months ago

I’m going to the poooooooooooooooooooool tomorrow. Horray. woohoo. I’m so happy I’m going to feel like a fish. Even though it’s about freezing outside. Hot tub, steam room, sauna, and hot shower afterward is what I’m talking about :)



Walking! 12 months ago

I’ve been thinking about walking for over a week. Life got really stressful. But today seems to be nice since I only had to go to an interview (which went really well :D). It was so relaxing to be with nature. I must do this every morning! Haha, such a young and ambitious mind. I will definitely start doing this, it makes me want to fix my life; go to bed early, wake up early and walk and just be healthy overall.



Body aches. 14 months ago

I need to exercise more. I went for a jog ayer, I need to again mañana. I like how my arms and legs start to look. I really enjoy being outdoors and jogging, hopefully I can jog until December then I’ll start jumping rope for a few minutes a day :)



Schedule 15 months ago

When does exercise fit into your schedule? Maybe never. I need to make this a priority. You can’t say ‘sorry I don’t have time.’ If you have time to be alive then you have time to exercise. If you think something is important you will do it. If you’re in the middle of eating and someone calls you because they need you, you don’t say ‘well, could you wait until I finish my burrito?’ NO, you make time. I recently got a new bf (horray), and even though I can spend 7-8 hrs a day at the library studying, I know that I will make time for the relationship. Now I need to make time for my relationship with jogging, kind of like that commercial…yay Newbalance.

I’ve been doing great with this. I keep a steady routine, it takes me about 1.5 hrs to complete including warm up, stretching and cool down. I know exactly what I need to do and it’s relaxing to work through my exercise plan. Basically I warm-up, stretch, work my tri-ceps, work my legs, push-ups, then sit ups, then I go walk and jog some and walk some more. It’s a routine that fits me quite well. Also, I do this an hour after breakfast on days I am able to, and if not in the morning an hr after lunch. I usually work evenings so I love to get exercise done early before it’s too hot outside.



Tell someone 16 months ago

It’s cool to tell someone whom you care about that you exercise. It shows that you care about them to keep yourself up, it shows that you care about your own health, that you’re determined and disciplined. It’s a good support system. To know that you have to keep looking good in order to impress a hot guy, is a good reason to exercise regularly.



push yourself 16 months ago

each day I exercise I try to do more push ups or longer running than I did the previous day. I am constantly pushing myself to do more and better. This helps me see my improvement over short term and long term. I can’t stress how pure and energizing I feel when I exercise. I feel like my old self and I know I could run a mile if some crazy man runs after me. Anyways, good luck to everyone, it’s never too late to start exercising, and yes, even a little exercise is good, it’s better than nothing!



sleep first 17 months ago

Sleep is so important in order to have enough energy to exercise. Lately I’ve gotten more sleep and have been getting up early to walk my dog. This routine has helped me start exercise by 11a. Most people work during the day so this situation is unusual for me.
Even though I was sore yesterday and a little today, I still pushed myself to exercise. My exercise consists of a warm up, stretch, series of tricep exercise, pushups, situps etc, then walking and jogging. I’ve had this routine for a while now and I’m beginning to master it and challenge myself to do this more and for a longer duration each time. Also, a good side effect is that I feel better about myself now.

Today I woke up early because I couldn’t sleep. I’ve been restless for various reasons. With exercising, you just have to do it, and make sure you feel good about it. It’s so refreshing and makes me feel pure. I love my developing muscles and omg I can do two push ups. haha. I can do 14 tricep ups and 25 sit ups, lol. I have a ways to go.

the hiking trip was cancelled, I will reschedule for later hopefully next week. It rained today but me and the bf played some disc golf just throwing it at each other, haha, and a long walk that made my legs ache, AND we saw 4 geese wobbling in a line, it was adorable and completly relevant.
