Lately I have been sketching away, mostly drills with a new technique I found useful for drawing large circles or lines. I just picked up both learning to draw cartoon style (hard to explain), and also using negative+positive spaces to draw faces. Hopefully I will be able to learn to see shapes of human faces by practicing Pos/Neg spaces.
Basically, I want to be able to see shapes. :P
Not sure how successful I will be copying a reference photo of another person, but I am willing to give it a go. After all, I read around that drawing from life is the best way to learn.

I have actually been obsessed lately with drawing, I feel like a kid again. Back when I used to sit at my dining room table and doodle away. Although I am focusing more on technique and skill, I still doodle when I feel obligated to. :) Oh and I spend well over 1 hour daily drawing, like I said it has become a necessity.

I am going to spend 1 hour everyday learning how to draw the human anatomy, and also drawing out all new concepts that come to mind. When I am not drawing, I want to explore my creative space (mind) and search out new ideas to draw out throughout the day. When an idea comes to me, I will immediately rush to my pad and sketch it out to get it down. I am going to practice daily, so that I can be the best I can. The only way to become a pro at something, is to do it everyday with focus and intent.
Knowing how important action is, I will begin tomorrow morning. (haha I know what your thinking, do it now!)

Been getting on course with a few of my life issues lately, but I so want to get better expressing new depths of creativity… I want to get to a point where it flows out of me. I wish to draw several things a day, not just things of my personal interest, and also not things around me either.
I mean imagination, deriving details only when I need to from outside sources. Anyways, for me to do this I must make a habit out of it. I need to think about it for a bit to figure out how I can make it apart of everyday.
Another thing. I don’t just want to explore my own creativity alone, but also different styles of drawing. An example is manga style, some Marvel styles, different cartoon styles. Anything, really learn and play with them. I want to learn to draw expressions, minute details, shapes. Anything to further my knowledge.
I was thinking about art school, but I am not entirely sure yet. Art class back in school didn’t do much for me, and was very strict as far as the creative expression went. I just have to see what happens.
Sayo.

I just added this tonight, I hate adding new things because some gets left to the dust. Anyways I really want to draw a new gun/armor concept everyday. At least one, and I don’t think it is much to ask from myself.
I want to practice releasing my creativity everyday so that it becomes easier to let it flow out uncontrolably. At the moment it can be hard thinking of a new concept, but if I look at combined shapes of objects around me, I can usually get a good idea down.
