I’m planning on redoing my bedroom sometime this summer. Right now I have lilac walls, a purple flowered bedspread and curtains, and a shelf with precious moments over my bed. You’d think I was ten, not twenty. And even though I’m moving out in August, it will be nice to have a new room to come back to on my breaks.
I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do until I stumbled onto some pictures on my mother’s computer. She’s a real estate agent, and she showed a house once that was covered in the family’s photos. It didn’t look cluttered though. Their son’s room was my favorite. They had made a border around the room with photographs of him (he’s still a toddler, so it isn’t creepy it‘s really cute).
I want to paint my walls beige, and then frame all of my photographs of my garden, as well as other people’s photographs. My friend gave me an orchid calendar last year, and I think I’m going to use it to make a collage over my bed. I’m so excited!
