This was good for me because it helped me learn that I am not afraid of new things since I do new things frequently. So – this was something that I was already doing and I didn’t know it.

I need to be more specific about what type of new things I want to do. I think that exercising and grading papers at the same time is a new and unique thing to do, but it isn’t very exciting. So, I have to decide if I want to do new and exciting things or if I just want to do new things. Hmm – obviously one is more difficult than the other. Maybe I should change the goal to “do something new every week.” That would make it more exciting. Maybe this isn’t much of a problem for me. I don’t think that I’m really scared or apprehensive about new things. So, instead of actually forcing myself to do new things, I will just be trying to recognize the times when I am doing new things.
