I went on a gluten free/wheat free diet. Hard to do, admittedly, but completely, 100% worth it.
My skin is currently healing and my face is completely cleared up. The eczema on my hands is going away and it itches less.
For anyone trying to clear up skin, I would highly recommend researching this and doing it.

My skin has almost completely cleared up, including my eczema. The answer? Coconut oil.
Yes, you can put it on your skin and it does help. However, for me, I just take a tablespoon or two of it everyday. It started working overnight and I am THRILLED that my eczema is clearing up.
It’s nice not to have people staring at it. =P
If you read what’s on this link and so on, you’ll find it’s good for a lot more than just skin care too.

My eczema is getting bad again. Of course, it comes up right before I’m going to my dad’s house. I find this particularly stressful, as our relationship is very strained and is mostly out of feeling obligated. The skin on my hands is raw and I’m suffering from something similar to insomnia.
I really should figure out ways to control this…

I’ve been having trouble sleeping lately…and when something is up in my head that has the ability to keep me awake, it results in scratching at my eczema even when I don’t notice. And then when I do, it ends up being too late…and I keep doing it.
So as I said, last night I had a very hard time trying to sleep. My hands are very raw and have open spots on them now.
I’ve decided to go to my naturopatic doctor this next week to see if there’s anything that can be done. I’m determined enough that I really don’t care about the cost now.

I’ve had eczema. It drives me nuts. It covers my hand, my neck, and right above my mouth. I’d really like to try and control it. On top of that, I’m really trying to clear up any other blemishes on my skin.
I’m going to start eating healthier- less sugar and processed wheat, drink LOTS of water, and try to throw more veggies into the diet. Oh…and set up an actual sleeping schedule in which I get enough sleep. That’s probably one reason for my skin issues.
