learn how to drive (all over again)

I bought a car! I have decided that I can only really learn to drive well if I own a car. Our large family car is too big for me. So I bought a small car with automatic gear. I get it next Thursday and I am really happy and looking forward to it.

Next week I’ll go on practice again at driving school. Will I ever be able to drive on my own?

I have a driving license and I never drive. So I am always depending on public transport or on other drivers. I have begun learning again. This time must be the real and final one. I just have to get the knack of it, with stick and all. I will reward myself buying a small second-hand car and drive around until I am confident enough to drive our SUV. The first time I go shopping in the car by myself I will feel great, I am sure.
