finish my short story

Who would have thought school, a place where I am suppose to learn to write, would distract me from writing. I can feel the end of my chapter welling up inside, but I can not get more than twenty minutes to decipher my mind’s ramblings. I HAVE to finish the chapter this week. It is a goal, and I will not fail.

I’ve been doing well. I have gotten loads of positive feedback from people who have read it. I haven’t written as much as I should have in the past few days, but the reason is because I have been keeping a blog and reading “The Red Badge of Courage.” I’ll work harder in the next month, I guess.

I have very little self dicipline. I start out with great stories, then they go to mush and I get lazy. Ihis summer, I will complete one of these suckers. I will!
