Won a few medals (2 gold, 1 silver) in the All City Art Exhibition, and was 1 out of 5 that won a scholarship to attend a college credit art class in the School of the Art Institute of Chicago this year, as a junior in high school for free (it costs a little over $1000 to attend a single class). So I’m gonna be going to that this summer. It’s pretty awesome to know that I got one when I didn’t even apply for one lol Out of over 300 kids who entered, I was 1 out of 5.
Now to apply for real scholarships lol

I know I’m a bit too young to apply for scholarships, but I have to start thinking about applying later on. I’m going to be a junior next school year (sophmore now) in high school, and if I don’t get at least a few to pay for tuition fews, then I don’t know what to do. I have big plans for college, and I don’t intend to limit myself just becuase of my financial status! I don’t plan on going to community college as my sister is, then transfer to whatever other college. I want to a four-year college, and hopefully if the stars are on my side, get a PhD in … something. I haven’t thought that far ahead yet, but even though I know it takes quite a few years to gain that, I’m commited…
