write a poem that doesn't suck

And I say “Arg” again.
Seems like everyone but me knows how to write poetry.
I mean, I can write it, I guess.
But it sucks.
A lot.
I wanna be able to write the kinda stuff that tells a story.
And the kinda stuff with emotion and expression.
But at the same time I don’t want it to be sappy or cliche’d.
I know what kind of poetry and lyrics I like to read.
The kind of stuff that makes you say “WTF.”
But in a good way.
The kinda stuff that blows your mind.
And makes you say “Whoa, I never woulda thought of that..”
That’s what I wanna do.
