move to England

This week i have been looking at what type of jobs are out there and how much money i think i will need to leave in April. I have decided at most i will need $15,000! Soooo much money! However this can be reduced if i manage to find a job before i leave and even better if that job has a car! I also cannot decide where i am to live as i am happy to go where ever the job is! I would perfer somewhere in the Midlands as ever is easily accessable from the middle!

I have also been looking at cars… i think the most i can spend would be 1500 pounds, but 1000 would be better. I am looking at Nissan Micra’s or other small cars as i need cheap insurance and low petrol costs.

Broken down the $15000 would be three months rent, three months of money to pay the bills in Australia, three months worth of living money and lastly the money to buy the car. I would hope within three months i could get a decent paying jobs.

If i can sell my car for $8000 that leaves me having to find $7000 from somewhere… with $150 in my savings account i am off to a start, but i need to get better!

Okay, i know i said the 17th of Feb, but i have to move this again. I know i know, i am not putting it off, i just want to make sure things are going to work.

I am now thinking of going late April, this will give me good experience in my current job to get me a good job in England and hopefully i will be able to save some money. The savings account is looking really bad, 76cents at the moment and i know i am going to need more then that! I want to have enough savings to live for 2 months that way i can have some holidays, find somewhere to live and get a decent job, or at least any job til i can get a decent job.

Well i have been thinking about this date… and its kinda not working for me anymore. I just got this awesome new job so i would like to stick at it for a little while longer! Also if i leave in Decemeber i am due to turn 30 in the following February and i think i would kind of like to be at home to celebrate my birthday. Soooo basically i will have to extend the date… how about Feb 17th. That sounds pretty good.

I have set a date of Decemeber 15th 2008 to be back in England. That’s 15 mths to get as much of my debt paid off as possible, plus save money to survive when i first get there. I am going to have learn self control and how to follow a good budget!!!

I was looking through my holiday pics and i so miss being in England!! Every so often i get in the mood where i just want to be in England… the other day i was actually looking for jobs i could do and was trying to make the decision of whether to live in London or in Peterborough with my friends :P

If only i didnt have my loan here i could so be in England right now… however if i didnt have the loan i never would have done travelling in the first place. Guess i am just going to have to be more proactive in getting back to England. I really need to start saving/paying off my debts. The dream is to go back to England mid Dec 2008. Wish me luck!

Everyone should have one thing in life that they truely desire, mine is to move to England. I live there for a year and i loved it. The people are great, the history is amazing, i found it to be my Heaven on earth.
