lose my virginity

I turn 16 in about a month. I’m also graduating this year, so needless to say I associate with a crowd 2-3 years older than me.
It’s not a priority, and I’m not really pressured to do so, but for the past few months I’ve thought about it a lot and decided that if the day ever came, I’d do it. Just as long as it was with someone I trust, because at my age I don’t think love has much to do with it.
And this is quite a step up for me. About a year ago I was saying that I’d never have sex and die a virgin, after which a friend of mine said I was very likely to get raped if I kept talking like that. So, I’ve had a change of heart and wouldn’t be totally averted to it if the chance came, even if it was a woman. :P
