clear out all my old junk

I sorted through a lot of old junk a couple of days ago, with the help of a friend of mine, who made the job a lot less boring – although I ended up keeping a couple of teddy bears I otherwise would have given away, because she insisted they were too cute to get rid of!

I need to get a move on with this since we might be moving over the holidays – which means I have about a month left to get rid of everything. Whatever happens, there’s no way I’m taking all my old crap with me.

I’ve been clearing stuff out little by little… every time I go into my room, I make sure to take out something I want to get rid of. I’ll probably attack a another couple of shelves at the weekend – if I’m not too weighed down with revision.

Made a start on this today – I cleared two shelves of old books. There’s a lot to be done, but if I do it bit by bit I reckon I can get rid of it all eventually – I just have to try not to accumulate too much new junk!
