stop throwing clothes on the floor

I think that one of my biggest problems with hampers is that I always have to sort darks from lights when I bring it to the wash. I bring all my laundry to my dad’s to do (who would pay 3 dollars a load? honestly…), so I have to put it into duffles anyways. Now, I came up with the obvious idea of using my two duffles to seperate darks/lights as soon as I change! I just shove my clothes into which ever load its to go into and I don’t have to worry about the clothes all over my floor to sort before I leave. And I’m starting to get the concept of putting my clothes away as soon as I get them home as well, instead of leaving them in the duffle and rooting through that… yeah I’m kind of behind on the whole ‘clean up after yourself’ kind of deal, but I’m getting really good at this now!

...My kitten has started to pee on everything that is left around my house, especially clothes, towels and bags. Its aparently a barn-cat-behavioural thing (says the vet), so instead of getting rid of my cat, I’ve decided to simply stop leaving clothes lying around. Luckily, he doesn’t pee on furniture or carpet, otherwise I’d definitely have to get rid of him. If I can keep clothes off the floor (and not peed on) for two months, I’ll count this as done.
