Remodel my bathroom

I think I will mark this off my list. The bathroom is basically done. The leak is fixed. They did have to break a few tiles but it isn’t as bad as I thought. I think instead of replacing them I will just put some kind of seal around the pipe and over the broken tiles in case it is necessary to get back in to the pipes again. They also marred a little bit of paint that I need to touch up. But, none of that is a big deal. I’m not in a huge rush to get it done. The ugliness is GONE!!! So, I think I will mark this off my list!

Well it’s almost done!!! Basically it is done and I LOVE the way it looks!!!!! Except…...when we turned on the sink it was leaking IN THE WALL!!!! I have been told my tile wall may have to be ripped out!!! I’m so upset about it! I have a plumber coming Monday morning!! I HOPE there is a quick easy fix that doesn’t ruin all of our hard work!

I called a bunch of people about this but no one could work till August. So, I offered to pay my cousin who is very busy to do it. I feel bad because I drug him into a huge mess. I painted the tile and he sanded ALL the paint off because there were run marks. I thought he was just going to sand the bad spots. Now my house is covered in dust. I have no sink or shower. The end is no where in sight. I just want to be able to take a shower again! It better look beautiful when it’s done!!!!

I just moved into a house with an awful tiled bathroom. I love the tile but HATE the color! Anyone have success with painting tile? I’ve heard mixed stories on this.
