Buy a House

Well after working out quite a few kinks, we signed the last papers! The house will be ALL OURS as long as everyting with the apprasiel from 1st preference the house is as good as ours! I’M SO EXCITED!

We have run into trouble with buying this house. =( The original price was 95k. We offered 90k. The owner counter offered 92.5k. Our loan will only cover the downpayment and closing cost if the house 90k or less. My first preference person told me to tell the owner that we offer 92.5k but seller pays closing costs. We’ll see how that goes….

I have a bad feeling about all this though. I’m ready to give up on giving a house. =( Might as well just rent.

After getting turned down by Sallie Mae – a company that loans out money – I was heartbroken. My connected me with “her people” and they got Bruce and I a loan for 95k which is really good for us beings we don’t have one spec of credit! We FOUND a HOUSE and it’s adorable. We are schedueled to look at it today! If all goes according to plan we will purchase it and move into it in about a month! crosses fingers

My husband and I are currently living at his father’s house. His father is never home because of work but it still isn’t the same. We want our own place. The fact we are young really makes buying a house hard. We don’t want anything fancy – just something simple and comfortable.
