Life: meh. Orthodontist stuff is annoying. So are diets. I gotta put my cat on one, lol, he’s such a lazy blob. XD what else… Lots o’ homework, gah.
Shifting: I fall asleep. The only time I can meditate on weekdays is nighttime, and I always fall asleep cuz I’m relaxed and stuff. So annoying. But it’s great if I need it xP but anyway, gonna try again tonight. I found this great method of concentration. It’s to think of your breath as waves on the shore or a blowing wind. Last time I meditated, I got waves on shore and it was so relaxing. My spirit animal and I just walked on the wet sand and talked (reminded me of Hawaii, god I love that place xD).

Hiya.
So: progress. I can get into a semi-trance state, contact my spirit animal, and when I try to p-shift my hands they get numb/tingly. But then I get really twitchy and feel like I HAVE to move, almost like an itch. Could someone help me…? I’m kinda lost here. Gah, it’s so annoying- I feel like I’m really close…

Ok, I don’t post much, but I’m going to try to more now.
THIS GOAL IS MESSED UP. AND ONLY WE CAN MAKE IT RIGHT AGAIN.
So- a message to people out there. If you’re a roleplayer, or a faker trying to get attention, or someone who comes here just to laugh at us- yeah, just go away. This is real stuff were talking about here, so if you think it’s fun to rp as a werewolf, great! Do it somewhere else. there’s a reason this is called a goal.
Next, to you people who are serious about this stuff, please post more. This goal only seems full of crap because there’s no good stuff here anymore.
So…. Help this goal! Don’t let it die!!!!! We need to be serious on here. We need real, dedicated therians/lycans. Also- I agree, don’t push away the newbie. We were alm noobs once, so remember.
There’s my rant of the day.

Anyways, prgress: I’ve been trying to forge a deeper connection with the four elements so I can enlist in their help when I’m trying to shift. I think the extra source of energy would really help. How’s your guy’s progress?

So.. Neko mentioned this on the grow wings goal, and I thought I should mention it here.
Thing is- m-shifting works for me about as well as sheot. :P so, am I gonna waste my time trying to do something that doesn’t work for me? No! I’m going to find something that works for me.
That’s the whole point- you don’t have to work within a structure. You have to do what’s right for you. Have your own beliefs about shifting? Do them! You don’t only do what other people have done. Sure, it make work- for them. But you’re a whole different person, and what works for them may not work for you.
I did visualization stuff, I meditate, I’m getting some progress. But just because it worked for me doesn’t mean it will work for you. It doesn’t mean that it won’t either. Some stuff other people have used may work for you. But if it doesn’t feel right, don’t force it.
Find your own path.

I’m fine, been knda taking a break on p-shifting but I’m getting back on track. Nothing much, but whenever I concentrate (even for only like 2 seconds) my hand (which I’m trying to shift) gets all tingly. Hope that’s a sign of progress!
Nothing else really. Gonna go meditate now :)

Today was rather terrible in the shifting sense.
I was on this dock, I’m on spring break (so I’m in south Carolina), and I saw these four birds soaring in the sky. It was terrible. Suddenly there was this like- I don’t know how to say this- yearning to be there, flying, and knowing I couldn’t was even worse. I’ve never felt so trapped in my life, I wanted to tear myself apart so u could be free.
Yay, there’s my depression. But at least I have more motivation now, I’m gonna try and shift tonight.

anyways, shifting- not much. I told my friend, she doesn’t think m mentally insane which is good (lol) and so… I really hope she wants to shifT.Anyways, that’s pretty much it for now.
