I did ski in Utah (December 2005) at Solitude, Snowbird, Alta and Snowbasin. Drove there by car in 1 day from Los Angeles. It was 700 miles and took about 12 hours (with stops).
Next, I want to ski at Lake Tahoe. Will probably drive there as well.
