Yay!

Well, I’ve been saving all summer so that I could make my first trip abroad. It was so nice when I finally got to go do something so huge just by pinching a few pennies here and there.

Although I guess in the end I didn’t save anything because I spent it all on the trip, but I’m much happier to have spent the money on that fantastic vacation than to have spent it on a lunch here and a pair of shoes there.

I’ve been saving a LOT of money just by packing my lunches for 4 days a week. Can’t recommend that enough. ($125 saved since New Years, yay! [although i do have my eyes on a new pair of Jimmy Choos – somebody stop me!]
