Make more friends in Los Angeles who I can grow with.

One of my learned issues with this project is that my life does not lend itself to being friendly.

I work in a cube all day. I converse by email and rarely speak to anyone unless it is by phone.

Other then shopping my only out of house activity lately has been the gym which is a place where striking up conversations is considered taboo. People go to train not to socialize. The folks who do try and make it a social event are sadly fishing in a shallow pond.

What I could use is a more social outlet for my attempts to make more freinds. Someplace that is not a social desert.

Knowing lots of people is one thing, saying hello and knowing the names. Being real freinds takes more effort then I thought.

I love my friends Truly I do. In commiting to making more friends I am extending myself and all I have to offer. You can not keep what you have unless you freely give it away.
