Murder:
random selection of cards for the number of people at the table: one person, two of these must be (each) one jack, and one king.
ie: 5 people [a jack, a king, a 7, a 3, and a 9]. the person dealt the jack is the murderer, the king is the cop.
the object is for the murder to “kill” people by discreetly winking to them. when someone is killed, they push their card to the centre to indicate they are dead: not too obviously though. the cop’s job is of course, to find out who is killing the other players, by being sneaky and attentive.
if the killer tries to kill the cop: the game is up, if everyone is killed except the cop, the murderer wins.
to drink: if you are killed, you drink, if you are the cop, you drink for each player that is killed under your watch. if you are the killer, you drink for every player left alive at the end of a round.
(this game is basically a big staring match and can seem a little creepy, but it is so much fun and addictive once you play) :D

... i don’t think i’ve ever really done the whole “study group” thing: it just never seemed to be very worthwhile, amazing potential to get sidetracked etc.
well last night i participated in a large study group (the majority of my class) and it turned out to be two things: a lot of fun, and very productive much to my surprise. i would definitely do this again, and i think the class will want to as well. good times.

... being more social takes effort though, lots of times it is financially costly, lol, and can really break up an already busy schedule. i have to say, being more social is good times, and I wouldn’t look back on this, but it’s not without a price.
