Headed over to Greece and crossed off the Temple of Zeus at Olympia and Parthenon.

Well, as I now live in Cairo the Great Pyramids was an easy one. I have been inside one and plan to do the others when family next come to visit.

The Light House was harder. The remains of the lighthouse are in the harbour at Alexandria. I’m a SCUBA diver (check out my other things) so a couple of friends and I went to Alex to dive the site. It isn’t as impressive as it was a few years ago (the photos from the discovery look amazing), the visability was very poor (2 – 5 meters!) and my tank was full of the corniche’s finest air. But, hey, it was one more off the list.
