Lessons are costly — 7 months ago
As a college student who wants to take too many different kinds of lessons, I don’t think this is going to be on top of the list, even if I’ve wanted to do this for a very long time.
I’m living with my parents now and I’m moving in 2 months so there’s no point in buying a set or starting lessons. And then I’ll be spending a year in sort of an advanced (meaning, it’s quicker than normal) art degree program where I’m in sort of a dorm setting (residence hall). At that point, I don’t really know where I’m headed after…I’d like to take long term drum lessons – not a quick beginner lesson just to appease my goal. :( This means I have to wait at least a year and a half.
