I bought one so that I can list the day’s to-do list! Hopefully it will help me stay on track and be productive!

since I just moved into a new place but school stuff is really really getting intense (“down to the wire” as my teacher calls it). BUT…
I can barely find any school project materials when I need to that I really have to get organized FIRST before doing anything. Grr.
I could be sleeping or actually doing homework right now! Boo!
However, I got almost all my foodstuffs unpacked and my clothes I will just throw together (clean in one area and to-wash in the laundry bag). The rest can wait until after my projects are DONE.
that I need to take things one at a time right now!
:(
However, I am moving to a new place this weekend and I think it’ll be an excellent time to renegotiate how I organize my things and it’ll be better – with more storage areas and more surface areas as well! Whee! Exciting.
My room is finally organized into a semblance of what I’d like. It’s kind of different than how it was originally so I’m hoping it’ll allow for more easy access. I am not sure it’ll work because the school stuff (and as an art student, I have a LOT), takes up a lot of room. Right now, it’s packed away but realistically, once I start studying, it won’t make sense to spend a lot of time packing everything nicely away if I’m constantly using the materials. I really need to figure out what I can stash under the beds. >.<
Now I just need folders for my receipts/expense tracking, folders for mail, and I think I’m pretty much good to go!
Hope everyone else is making progress. G’luck!
to be organized when I had a roommate for about a month and a half. Since we had to share the small space, I found it easier to compress and stay organized but hard to actually be consistently organized when sometimes it’s so much easier to drop stuff in a pile and just go to bed.
Now my roommate is gone :( but at least I have more space. I still need to get more organized and kind of renegotiate everything back into the empty spaces. It’s a bit saddening. Anyhow, I might move soon anyway so I’m debating whether it’s worth the pain of being so technical with what goes where.
I usually write down assignments from classes somewhere immediately. I’ll write ‘em down in the notebook usually since I’m too lazy to dig out the agenda but I’ll write ‘em somewhere.
And the thing is, people keep asking me what the homework is! Even when they’re in class. Like dude…once or twice, no problem. We all have lapses and we’re all human. But consistently? Bejeezums, start bringing a voice recorder or something because I’m not the go-to-girl for checking the homework agenda.
I just moved to California and am settling into my dorm/room place but I’m having organizational problems.
I’m trying to get it all down pat before school classes begin. I hope it works. I’m just trying to organize my physical belongings! I still have other things to organize, like finances and stuff, as well as school confusion stuffs…my my, tons and tons! :(
I wanted to clean yesterday but I couldn’t and it drove me nuts. I simply had way too much schoolwork to do still, not to mention an upcoming expo in which I’m selling jewelry at. That, and it’s the holiday season!
I WILL do all this BY Monday, Dec 17!!!
~wrap ALL my gifts
~finish and send holiday cards
~bead the gifts I said I would
~organize my beading supplies (this one is a pain in the pancreas)
~select beading supplies I’m bringing with me when I move
~donate the stuff I’ve put aside
~clear the computer desk entirely
~START working on my business binder ASAP
Other things I want to do:
+ more organization of my room
+ beginning to pile things in my room to be ready to be packed away
+ completely clearing the living room of things that are mine
+ clear the storage room
+ remember to buy a mini toolkit for me to bring with me
+ start listing specific items I am bringing with me when I move
+ more organization of my room
+ beginning to pile things in my room to be ready to be packed away
+ completely clearing the living room of things that are mine
+ donate whatever I don’t want, like books and clothes
+ clear the computer desk
+ clear the storage room
+ remember to buy a mini toolkit for me to bring with me
+ start listing specific items I am bringing with me when I move
+ start my business binder and fill it religiously as things occur
+ organize my beading materials and select things I will bring
Since this weekend is a 3 day weekend for me, I decided I am going to be productive. Now it’s Sunday night but I still have tonight do get organized with my homework (catching up on old work as well) and if I manage to do that, I can let myself spend tomorrow picking up around the house – which will make me happy because once stuff is clean and tidy, I can start beading jewelry again, something I’ve said I’d do since summer.
