I’ve always had a fascination with Europe. I first went there in 2005 to spend 6 weeks in Paris. I was studying abroad. I stayed within Paris, with some day trips to nearby places but I didn’t go anywhere else. 2007 – I decided to study abroad in London, England. Whee! Best decision ever. It was great and I love London, although I would not want to live there. I took several day trips and weekend trips around England and they were all very interesting. I had a weekend trip to Wales, which I loved. One adventure I like to tell is how the 3 of us rode 7 miles on a bike uphill and downhill…with our coats…in the wind…and occasional rain. It was great. :p It took 3 hours.
On spring break, my friend and I went to 10 cities, starting in Paris and ending in Crete. We only covered France, Italy, and Greece, though. But it was amazing – we had a fantastic time in Verona, as well as Athens. :D
Towards the end of the semester, another girl and I did a host weekend in Scotland. We went to Helensburgh (which is right outside of Glasgow) and then to Edinburgh to visit. We loved Scotland so much!
I can’t wait to go back!
