So I bought my highlighters, I have my star stickers (the cheapest ones for office use I could find) and I’m ready to start scribbling all over my map!

Now if only I could figure out what color coding system or how I should express the map…whether to focus on places I have been, places I love, or places I have yet to go (because that’s most of the world right there).

Anyhow, there is a great commercial for Discovery Channel that expresses my love of traveling and I wanted to share the link to the video. Here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RIoBXdQX_wY and it’s great. The song’s really adorable. I’m addicted to it.

I have a map "book" from when I had to buy 19 months ago

it for Geography class. Since I’m not good on the money front, I’ll recycle that and turn it into my personal map. However, I’m hesitant to “defile” it with things….

I’m unsure whether I’d like it better to mark places I WANT to go (that’ll be plenty) or to mark places I have already been to. Maybe I should use this opportunity to buy pretty stickers and highlighters! >.< But I really need to save my money…this isn’t at all practical or needed so…I really shouldn’t. :(

Advice?

A globe 2 years ago

I am debating the idea of buying a globe and sticking pins in places I’ve been.

I can't figure out 2 years ago

I can’t decide how I should make mine.

It’s easier to have a small scale map of one specific country perhaps but I can’t just have a bunch of loose ones lying around. >_< I won’t put them up on the wall because I’m moving soon so that’s pointless.

I’d love it in book form but a world atlas is a big huge.

Any suggestions?
